COORDINATOR WANTED
Are you a logical thinker who would
appreciate our smooth, methodical, 500-step scheduling procedure as a creative
form of art and view the final error-free team schedule as a masterpiece? You
are? Would you also be able to work overtime to meet our publishing deadlines
during the four busy months of scheduling?
You would? Good... perhaps you
would be interested in applying for Co-Rec Soccer’s full-time position.
Daily telephone duties include in-depth soccer rule interpretation,
dispute-resolution, referee coordination, player suspensions and fee
collection. Applicants must be
detail-oriented and able to solve Parks’ scheduling problems under pressure.
Computer experience is required for data entry, accounting, and updating
team standings. A background in
business, publishing, proofreading, website development, and public speaking
would be helpful.
On Saturdays and some Thursdays we coordinate,
coach, and referee soccer clinics of up to 50 adults. Please be an experienced
player that has an appreciation of Co-Rec Soccer’s rules regarding fair play
and the ability to communicate them effectively.
This career opportunity in the field of soccer promotes fitness through
fair play in a non-violent atmosphere.
There is extensive supervision and training. The pay for the first year including overtime is $40,000 to
$45,000 plus heath / dental insurance.
