FULL-TIME LEAGUE COORDINATOR WANTED

Are you a logical thinker who would appreciate our smooth, methodical, 500 step scheduling procedure as a creative form of art and view the final error-free team schedule as a masterpiece? You are? Would you also look forward to and enjoy working long hours extending into evenings and weekends (and, of course, the overtime pay) to achieve this end during the four busy months of scheduling? You would? Are you sure? Good... perhaps you would be interested in applying for the Co-Rec Soccer Association’s full-time position.

Daily duties include telephone communication such as team / player placement, in-depth soccer rule interpretation, dispute resolution, player suspensions, fee collection and tournament development. Office tasks include data entry, statistical analysis, accounting, and updating team standings.

Applicants must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to solve a few emergency rescheduling problems under occasional deadline pressure.

A background in business, marketing, publishing, proofreading, website development, public speaking, sales and soccer coaching would be helpful. Computer experience is required! There is extensive supervision and training.

The outdoor aspect is to coordinate, coach, and referee soccer clinics of up to 60 adults on Saturdays and some Thursdays (see following articles). Please be in soccer shape, have an appreciation of Co-Rec Soccer’s rules regarding fair play and the ability to communicate them effectively.

This rare job opportunity in the field of soccer promotes fitness through fair play in a non-violent atmosphere.
